I suppose I have started to make pictures like this a thing that I do when I jump around with the band & crew on stage. The thing is that when you’re up there, you see a perspective and feel an energy that is very different from the perspective & the energy you experience at the ground level. This picture, and the one I took on stage in New York, from behind Amanda, is meant to show her as a performer giving herself to the crowd. A literal behind the scene snap shot. Or, the view of the fly on the wall on the stage behind the band.

As this leg of the tour wraps up (two shows left), make sure to get in your ass kicking AFP & The GTO photos from their 2012 world tour: SUBMIT: http://amandapalmerphotos.tumblr.com/submit
